Cleanliness is next to godliness. Ram Sajor Singh Smriti Society is devoted to creating a clean and healthy environment for everyone. We know that ignorance of people is causing serious problems like pollution and natural disasters. We strongly promote Swachh Bharat Mission and Mission Nirmal Bangla by organising cleanliness programs regularly in Halishahar. We are also raising awareness among communities on the vital importance of maintaining hygiene in our surroundings. Through these efforts, we are building a sustainable and livable society for the next generations.

Tree Plantation
Trees are crucial for maintaining balance in our environment. It not only produces oxygen and absorbs harmful carbon dioxide, but also a home for countless creatures. Sadly, unthoughtful human-driven deforestation has led to pollution, global warming, and other environmental problems. To counter these threats, we’re on a mission to restore green by planting trees. Tree plantation is the key solution, helping us fight pollution, reduce risks, and create a healthier planet. We hope that planting trees to safeguard our environment will positively impact the world we all share.

Awareness of Traffic Rule
Keeping roads safe is our shared duty. Following traffic rules is vital for safe moving and driving, preventing accidents, and managing traffic jams. But the increasing rate of road accidents on busy roads is a serious concern. To address this issue, we organize awareness campaigns to educate people about traffic rules and the importance of responsible behaviour on roads to keep everyone protected. Our goal is to make people aware of the results of breaking traffic rules and to encourage safe driving habits by working together to reduce accidents and make our roads safer.

Self Defence and Art Classes
Ram Sajor Singh Smriti Society is proud to offer affordable coaching in karate, judo, yoga, music, dance, and more. Our devoted teachers focus on nurturing each child’s unique talents. Beyond academics, we believe every child should engage in extracurricular activities to discover and develop their inherent skills. Recognizing the importance of a well-rounded education, we provide opportunities for children to explore their interests, ensuring holistic growth.

Study Material Distribution
To enhance a child’s learning experience and make education accessible, we are providing assistance to unprivileged needy students. Most of these children belong to economically backward sections and do not have enough access to learning materials like books, pens, pencils, school bags etc. To help these people, we have taken a small initiative to distribute these materials at free of cost, aiming to remove barriers and promote uninterrupted education in these communities

Blanket Distribution
Ram Sajor Singh Smriti Society is dedicated to ease the lives of the impoverished in marginalized areas, particularly during the harsh West Bengal winters. Many needy people lack warm blankets for themselves and their families. Recognizing their plight, we conduct blanket distribution programs to provide comfort and warmth during these challenging times. By sharing the warmth of compassion, we aim to make a positive impact and alleviate the suffering of those in need.

Food Distribution
Every year we conduct food distribution programs 3 to 4 times to support those living below the poverty line, particularly at railway platforms. Our goal is to eradicate hunger and enhance food security by providing nutritious meals.
During the COVID period, we’ve extended support by donating essential ration items to 700 to 800 families, including rice, pulses, and edible oil. This initiative not only addresses hunger but also prioritizes nutritional well-being, ensuring that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

Religious Program
Our country is the home to diverse religions. We celebrate diversity and respect all religions. Our organization hosts religious programs, pujas, and prasad distribution (langar), fostering unity among different faiths. The grand 9-day celebration of Rath Yatra is a special occasion, where we organize vibrant events, spreading joy and cultural richness. Embracing the diversity of our country, we aim to create a harmonious and inclusive community through these religious initiatives.
