St. Soldiers Convent School (H.S.)
Sustainability, Viability, Feasibility
St. Soldiers Convent School (H.S.) is a West Bengal government-aided co-educational English medium school, affiliated with WBBSE and WBCHSE. As an educational venture by Ram Sajor Singh Smriti Society, SSCS was established in 1998 with the mission to provide quality education to underprivileged needy students at minimal charges, without any admission donations. Registered as a society in 2000, we got secondary school recognition in 2008 and upgraded to class 10 in 2010. Our students appeared for the 2012 Madhyamik exams. In 2015, with WBCHSE affiliation, we introduced higher secondary education in science, arts, and commerce and our higher secondary candidates attended the WBCHSE board exam in 2017. Our dedicated team of 40-45 staff members are striving to create a sustainable teaching-learning environment in the school. The languages we cover as first languages are English, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu. Currently, 1200 students benefit from our commitment to accessible and quality education.
